Excellent Holiday!

The hotel was excellent, the staff so welcoming and friendly. They even provided fantastic weather!
Very close to the lakeside for relaxing boat trips to Ambleside and to the opposite end of Lake Windermere to Lakeside.

Had a lovely stay for our diamond wedding anniversary bought by my daughter we had a lovely time the rink was beautiful and the food in the restaurant was excellent

Lovely stay and the staff were amazing but unfortunately only a basic menu was offered due to staffing levels. However the food was served beautifully and tasted delicious. Our room had no TV signal , which we reported but no action taken but probably again due to staffing issues. This in no way impacted on our most enjoyable stay

Great location, request a room at the front of the hotel

Stayed one night. Staff really friendly and helpful. Hotel in a great location for town and lake. The only downside for us was our room was at the back of the hotel so we re woken up by the deliveries arriving at 630am. Also the blind in hotel was broken so one corner wouldn t go down which meant we had the night light from outside shining in.

Stunning hotel

Fantastic reception staff , lovely and friendly as was the Restaurant Duty Manager. We stayed in a suite which had everything one would need for a stay away, the fridge was a great asset on a warm weekend. There was a wedding that weekend but we were not disturbed by the party or noise at all even though they were gathered below our window.
The breakfast was nice quality but as it was self service it quickly went cold on returning to the table although the cold section was lovely with lots of choice and this itself was enough for me.
The Belsfield is set in beautiful gardens and the location of the hotel could not be better if visiting Bowness.
