Relaxing trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our short trip to the Belsfield. It is in such a gorgeous position overlooking the bay. Super views and so close to the boats. You really don't need to go anywhere else

Excellent location and a very good hotel

Excellent location , helpful staff, the meals and acommodation were very good, unfortunately the menus were restricted when we were there due to covid, but they were still good served by helpful staff. We were lucky enough to have a lakeside view which was really breathtaking. The really good weather we had helped a lot, but the overall experience we had because of the hotel, was second to none.

The Belsfield Hotel

The weather was glorious for our 3 days in the Lakes so The Belsfield looked especially stunning on the hillside. We especially appreciated the little extras included in our package; 2 free drinks, a boat trip on Windermere and a delicious dinner on our first night. Well worth booking a room overlooking the lake.

Excellent Holiday!

The hotel was excellent, the staff so welcoming and friendly. They even provided fantastic weather!
Very close to the lakeside for relaxing boat trips to Ambleside and to the opposite end of Lake Windermere to Lakeside.

Very nice night away

The package I had was room, welcome drink, 3 course meal, breakfast and a lake cruise all included. For the price I paid, couldn t really beat it.

Staff were friendly, attentive but not overbearing. The hotel was clean, tidy and had a good feel to it and it was located in a great place. We only had 1 night booked, but we enjoyed it. The food was tasty and the breakfast was plentiful. The only negative I would give is that drinks were a bit pricey. 33 for a bottle of Prosecco is a bit much when the supermarket price is 8/9. I get drinks in hotels etc get a mark up, but I m sure it puts people off staying and drinking there when there are cheaper pubs close by.
