Great location,terrible room

We stayed for two nights at the belsfueld in sept 2021.
The location of the hotel is great and the views from the garden were fabulous.
The staff were friendly and the food in the restaurant good.
The room however was a different story.We've booked various hoteld via this website several times before and they have on the whole been great.we stayed in the classic double room.The room was very small,with none of the luxury touches i would expect from this type of hotel.The window looked straight out into the front rooms of the people next door.For the price we paid I was incredibly disappointed and would not recommend it

Fantastic stay

Brilliant from start to finish. Felt very special staff were amazing and waking up to the views of the lake added that extra touch beautiful.

This is an amazing hotel. Wonderful outlook. Convenient for all the Lakes.
The most delightful thing about this hotel are the staff. They make your stay so enjoyable.
Alana the girl on reception is an absolute asset to the hotel, nothing is too much trouble
for her. She always there with a smile to give you any help. She goes above and beyond .

Excellent location

Checked in online but still had to wait to get in our room until 3.30. There was a wedding on at the hotel and although there was a designated area outside for the guests they took up most of the outside tables leaving no room for people staying at the hotel. Excellent afternoon tea.

Great hotel in a brilliant location

Great hotel in a brilliant location. We really appreciated our Lake Windermere facing room that was spacious and comfortable. The restaurant was not yet serving Fine Dining menu but the food was good with a range of dishes and cuisine. The wines available had a great range and budget to special occasions, such as our anniversary or just enjoying our meal after a great day out. Proximity to both Bowness-On-Windermere boat pier and local amenities denied the need of a car whilst good for access to other attractions. We walked to the Jetty Museums and had a great day on the heritage boats and a gem of a museum. We ll certainly be back once the Fine Dining menu is reinstated as it s a great hotel in a brilliant location.

Very wonderful locations with friendly and helpful staff!

My daughter and I stayed here for two nights and very relaxing. An excellent places for parking and going out.

We definitely will stay here again!
