Seemed short staffed. No on on desk at reception on arrival. No one on desk in dining room to take you to a table.
Would have expected a hotel of this grade to change the dinner menu, or at least specials, daily.
However fabulous setting and lovely decor.

Could not fault anything during our stay
although you certainly pay for the Location!

Outstanding location with outstanding staff

A very enjoyable stay, each member of staff was engaging and pleasant, they were genuinely there to and help and happy to do it. We will be back

Short break

Had a very nice short break at the Belsfield, very comfortable pity the restaurant menu did not change during our visit, Menu choice could be bigger !

It was lovely and we found the staff particularly ever so pleasant.

Stunning hotel

Fantastic reception staff , lovely and friendly as was the Restaurant Duty Manager. We stayed in a suite which had everything one would need for a stay away, the fridge was a great asset on a warm weekend. There was a wedding that weekend but we were not disturbed by the party or noise at all even though they were gathered below our window.
The breakfast was nice quality but as it was self service it quickly went cold on returning to the table although the cold section was lovely with lots of choice and this itself was enough for me.
The Belsfield is set in beautiful gardens and the location of the hotel could not be better if visiting Bowness.
