Amazing last minute stay

Myself and my wife stayed at Appleby manor for our 1st year anniversary. Amazing place, amazing staff and amazing food. I would highly recommend if you like a nice relaxing time in a really comfortable atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

An excellent stay.

We had a lovely three night stay at Appleby Manor. Excellent food & a lovely room. A good stroll into Appleby for pubs and cafes. I would highly recommend for a restful break.

Relaxed and peaceful

We enjoyed our two nights at the hotel very much in August. The hotel is a peaceful bolt-home away from it all and we found the welcome very warm and the general ambiance amongst the staff was considerate, helpful, but at the same time understated. The food both in the restaurant and bistro were both excellent and the breakfast was to a good standard. Couple this with the spa, lovely outdoor terrace with views across to the Lake District fells and the beautiful and quiet local countryside, and it all adds up to a tremendous visit for a peaceful recharge!

Great Stay

Fantastic location and the overall hotel experience was great pity just one night but would go back again and highly recommend

Luxury Break

We enjoyed our stay, we were Room 1 which was well appointed, (pity about the View). The bathroom was quite roomy. Enjoyed the Spa bath. The view from the Restaurant was magnificent. The little extras were much appreciated. We enjoyed the walk around the gardens before breakfast. Would definitely stay there again

Appleby Manor

Appleby Manor staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Made our two night stay very memorable. The spa is very good and the massage therapy staff were also very professional and skilled. Had a super relaxing time. The food was very good too. Had a lovely surprise on my birthday thank you to the restaurant staff and chef.

Incredible service

We stayed at Appleby Manor last weekend for two nights. We were absolutely blown away by it. The hotel itself is lovely, and the grounds (and views) are stunning. However, the service was on another level altogether. I can genuinely say that it is the best customer service I have ever received at any hotel I have ever stayed at. There were small details, such as knowing who we were and greeting us immediately (without prompting), and then there was the general ambience of friendliness and attention to detail. Just incredible. We will definitely be coming back in years to come!

A relaxing and fun few days

The four of us stayed here for a few days to celebrate my twin and my birthday. We all enjoyed the food, drink, ambiance, surroundings, spacious rooms, comfort etc, etc,. Some of us particularly enjoyed walking in the surrounding countryside, some more so the spa and treatments, but all of us would definitely visit again. Your staff in particular were all very helpful and evidently enjoyed working in this lovely place.
