Relaxing break

Hotel staff so helpful and friendly. The Garden Spa is fantastic so unusual and different best spa we have visited ever . Food was lovely ate in bistro and the restaurant. Overall a lovely relaxing break can't wait to return

Excellent Stay at Appleby Manor

Our stay at Appleby Manor was as good as ever, the moment you enter the hotel you are welcomed and made to feel special.
The staff are courteous and nothing is too much trouble.
The rooms are spotlessly clean and to a very high standard.
The restaurant is top class. having eaten in Michelin Star I would rate the food as good.
It is evident that the staff are trained to a very high standard and obvious they enjoy working in such a lovely environment.
We will certainly be returning in the near future.

Excellent Hotel, Friendly Staff and Excellent Restaurant and Breakfast

A warm welcome and very friendly staff throughout. Superb room with jacuzzi bath and tv in bathroom.
Good facilities. Food 5 star every time. Breakfast excellent too. A good base for exploring the area.

Lovely country break

Stayed for two nights and ate in the restaurant both nights. The food was exceptional and the staff were helpful and friendly. On arrival we thought our room was a bit dark and dated. (top floor overlooking the garden). Although it did have a lovely view. Very good value for money.

Very good hotel, would highly recommend a romantic break here.

We had a wonderful stay here and it was our honeymoon. My only complaint was that our room wasn't ready on arrival, and we arrived around 2pm. It was not early so it really should have been ready for us when we checked in. The elderly gentleman behind reception was not terribly welcoming or helpful, he certainly should not be the face of Appleby Manor! Overall the stay was great and the food was absolutely wonderful. I can quite honestly say it was the best steak I have ever had!
