Very good stay

We stayed at Appleby for two nights. We have stayed here before and we had another good stay. It was the first time we had used the spa (just a small pool last time) and it was excellent. The room was clean and well maintained and the restaurant was good.

Lovely stay at Appleby Manor

This is a lovely hotel, very clean, spacious rooms and very comfortable beds. Shower excellent, spacious bathroom. We had a garden room so patio doors opened onto terrace. As the weather was lovely for February we really enjoyed this room. The spa is very clean and relaxing.

Lovely break

We really enjoyed our overnight stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

Most enjoyable

My wife and I were looking for for a relaxing break at a comfortable hotel with good food and service. We found all these at Appleby Manor and the staff were exceptionally helpful and good humoured.

Nice relaxed stay

Nice hotel in a nice quiet location. Lovely modern rooms ( we chose modern rooms). Roomy, clean and nice big bed. Only criticism would be size of tv ( perhaps abit bigger would be better) also located to one side of bed low down. Other than tv location couldn t fault. Nice bathroom with great shower.restaraunt abit posh preferred the bistro. Another fault though being no drought beer, just bottled.

Charming Appleby Manor lost for words

The room, food and service were well beyond par. The location is so convenient 40 mins to Windermere Lake and such an enchanting family atmosphere. Thank you.
