Stayed only for a few days, but everything was great. Food , service rooms were all to the expected standard. Definitely worth a stay if only for the view from the library.

A relaxing break

I spent two nights at The Belsfield as part of a luxury break package. The staff were friendly and helpful and upgraded our room to accommodate mobility difficulties. The hotel is clean and comfortable, offering a good quality breakfast and a magnificent view of the lake.
I would definitely recommend the hotel and the luxury break package, that was very good value for money. I hope to return in the future.

Why haven't we stayed here before!

Really enjoyed our stay @ the Belsfield. Staff couldn't be more helpful or friendly.
When we arrived we were struggling to park as carpark so full but a member of staff, who happened to be passing, went out of his way to help us. We appreciated that very much.
The hotel is beautiful, so elegant but not stuffy. The views are amazing. Also, so convenient for everything especially the ferries. Just a walk down through the gardens & you're there.
The restaurant on our first night was a little quiet but the 2nd night was much busier.
The food was beautifully cooked & presented but we thought the menu wasn't terribly extensive.
We were lucky enough to get tables in the window on both nights & views were fabulous.
For some reason our room wasn't serviced on the Sunday. Not that it mattered to us as nothing needed replenishing.
The Belsfield has spoilt us for staying anywhere else really.

Stunning views and great service.

The hotel reception felt special and staff were very helpful. The view from the restaurant is wonderful and our meals were excellent. Very convenient for Bowness shops; lake and walks.

Beautiful last minute stay (DBB) at the Belsfield Hotel, with amazing views and quiet/cosy room

Can only add that this hotel is our favourite in Bowness-on-Windermere, and we try and stay every year or so, for a real treat, as everything is just made for the most relaxing and enjoyable stay, completely stress free. All the staff are amazing and really friendly, which makes the stay even more enjoyable / special.

Another lovely stay

Having stayed before we knew room 1 was suitable for my husband s wheelchair.
The staff were extremely helpful, the food delicious as usual and the location is ideal. My husband can enjoy the view from the lounge while I can walk locally as know the area. We will definitely go again.

What a fantastic setting for a hotel this hotel has everything you need for a fantastic stay, the staff where very friendly and helpful, the restaurant was amazing and the breakfast was very good,the view from the hotel gardens is spectacular
