Lovely break in a beautiful place

We were looking for a couple of days of pampering and booked at Lindeth Howe. The hotel is in a beautiful location and we booked a room with a view of Lake Windermere. The room was comfortable with a bay window facing the lake. It was very pleasant sitting in the window admiring the view. The staff in the hotel were friendly and efficient and even made wearing masks look comfortable. Our booking included dinner and breakfast as well as afternoon tea on one of the days. The food was pure delight and the afternoon tea was definitely a highlight. We will book again without hesitation and recommend the hotel to our friends. We have already decided that we will book for a Christmas break in the not too distant future.

We really enjoyed our stay here x the location was stunning and not far from bowness x the staff were lovely very friendly and the service in the bar restaurant was very good where the food was just amazing x the deal we had with afternoon tea and five course was well worth every penny and could not fault the food xx thankyou for the whole experience

Something different and Quirky

Stayed for one night D/B/B and afternoon tea. Even with the requirement of face masks we were made to feel very welcome and that nothing was going to be any trouble. The lady who met us (Owner?) was wonderful and down to earth. The decor throughout is exceptional, quirky and extremely interesting. We had afternoon tea included in our package which was excellent. I would travel hear just to have that again. The room (111) was large, had everything we needed and stunning views. The little balcony outside is great for a morning cuppa and look out over the lake and fells. We also had a 5 course evening meal which was served impeccably by the staff and was to a very high standard. Breakfast the next morning was equally good. Great choice had all cooked to perfection. Can t wait to return. The hotel has some safety measures in place but has obviously tried hard to strike a balanced approach. Simply wonderful.

Excellent. what a fabulous hotel to stay in. Short 10 min. walk (hill) to the lake

The room we stayed in had an good view of lake Windermere slightly obscured only due to trees. (not a fault of the hotel).
Overall very impressed with the service. The food was first class could not fault it.

Staff were excellent.
