Lovely country house hotel

Very pretty country house hotel, lovely staff and very nice deluxe room (unfortunately the hotel was full so we were unable to get the suite upgrade). Really liked the fact that you could walk by the lake into Bowness-on-Windermere - around 20 mins. Enjoyable breakfasts and I like the fact that they made an effort with vegetarian/vegan meals. Regarding the food, the afternoon tea and desserts at dinner were particularly nice. Liked the connection with Beatrix Potter, and the memorabilia on show.

Very nice country Hotel

Very imposing hotel in a nice setting. Attentive welcoming staff, large comfortable bedroom, very good dinner and afternoon tea. We would certainly recommend it. We booked through offpeak luxury and got a very good price.

Excellent hotel 2nd stay within last 4 months and it didn't disappoint again, very cheerful staff who could not be more helpful, good location to Boweness but feels secluded.

Quirky decor and great food

Carpets, wallcoverings and soft furnishings here are certainly a bit quirky, but in a tasteful and fun way. The restaurant excels and all of the staff were very helpful and friendly.

We had a fabulous time at the Lindeth Howe Hotel. It was beautiful. Really quaint and quirky. The room was comfortable and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The food was delicious but the menu was repeated each evening. That is the only bad comment we have. An exceptional place to stay. We loved it. Perfect location too.

Friendly and helpful staff made this a very enjoyable stay. The food was amazing. The lounge areas of the hotel were very comfortable and great places to relax. Will definitely return in the future.
