Great stay

We had a 2 night stay at Lindeth and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great location, peaceful.  Staff were great, very helpful and nothing was too trouble.

A little bit of Luxury

A wonderful place to relax and spend a few days. The superior room was certainly that! It had everything, all toiletries replaced every day along with the tea making things, the bed was even folded down in the evening during dinner and chocolates left on the pillows. A lovely touch!  Afternoon tea was like a gourmet meal, so much so we had to have a very late dinner on that day.  Wonderful food in the dining room with a good choice. The five courses were certainly as advertised - a great chef we think!  There was the heated indoor pool and sauna which was an added bonus, very good too!  The whole four days spent at Lindeth Howe was certainly worth every penny spent and I would certainly recommend it to anyone who wants a few relaxing, gourmet days in the Lakes

Lovely hotel with beautiful views over Lake Windermere. Staff very nice and helpful. Nothing too much trouble. Food excellent especially the sea bass (main) and reworked apple toffee crumble (dessert)

Wonderful relaxing break for our wedding anniversary

Had a great time at Lindeth Howe celebrating our wedding anniversary. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The suite was lovely, clean and comfortable and we loved the lounge and bar areas which have been recently refurbished. Food and service was excellent. We would definitely stay again!

Birthday Break

We booked an overnight stay including afternoon tea and dinner to celebrate my birthday - and were not disappointed. Lindeth Howe is positioned close to Lake Windermere in an elevated position but close enough to easily walk to the lakeside.  The service was first class throughout and we had a lovely relaxing stay in a beautiful bedroom overlooking Windermere.  We would definitely revisit when in the Lakes.
