Our ruby anniversary
From driving up to the entrance we knew we were in for a lovely weekend away. The stunning gardens in the autumn colours are beautiful.
We sat in the lounge area as our room wasnt ready, surrounded by Beatrix Potter history from when the house was hers ,the wallpaper, carpets, books ,studying these passed the time easily and a drink from the bar of course.
Our room 107 was lovely looking right over the gardens and we could just see the lake too.
The deal we had included 5 course meals on both nights, this was definatley the best choice, the food was delicious, amazing wow all the reviews were spot on.
We loved our stay it really was lovely and perfect for a special occasion.
Autumn in The Lakes
We stayed for 4 nights at Lindeth Howe. The hotel was spotless, not a speck of dust anywhere. We stayed in room 114 which was very nice. The restaurant and public rooms were excellent and we liked the Beatrix Potter theme. The food was to a very high standard, both dinner and breakfast and we will definitely stay again.
Amazing stay
Thank you to all the staff, we had a lovely stay.
The room had beautiful views of Lake Windermere & the food was to die for.
The staff were so helpful & lots of added extra touches for my partner's birthday. Would stay again.
Wonderful treat.
This stay was a Christmas present and it took us 9 months to get here but goodness it was worth it. Everything about the hotel was excellent and we had a very comfortable stay with great food. The only downside was that you could not arrange amazing weather to accompany our visit. However you could not ask for a nicer place to stay in comfort while the mists of the Lakes descend. I would definitely love to make a return visit.
Little Gem At Windermere
What a little Gem this Hotel is, nestled within walking distance of Bowness on Windermere I was taken aback by the ambiance and quirkiness of the interior. It was nice to see it had retained it's connection to Beatrix Potter and was furnished accordingly. The restaurant and quality of the food was excellent as were the very friendly staff who were coping well with covid restrictions, I cannot wait to return after lockdown.
Luxury in the lakes
Lovely hotel, within walking distance of Bowness,we stayed in a deluxe double room overlooking the garden food very good with plenty of choice. We had high tea one afternoon which was so nice.Decor all themed on Beatrix Potter One of the best assets of the hotel are the staff who are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble . Coved rules were adhered to by staff and other guests. We are already looking forward to returning next spring for our 3rd stay.
Birthday weekend
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend break to celebrate my husband's special birthday. Lovely room overlooking the lake, very comfortable. Restaurant was excellent.
