A sad occasion made happy.

We had to attend a funeral in the area but the hotel took away much of the sadness and the food was excellent. The dinner on the first night was the best food I have enjoyed since pre covid.

A lovely relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings

My husband and myself spent an evening away at Lindeth Howe after a gruelling few weeks of radio and chemotherapy treatment. We were made to feel very welcome by the reception staff. The food was excellent and the restaurant staff very attentive and professional. The decor was extremely interesting and all of the rooms spotlessly clean. We were able to relax and enjoy the food and surroundings at our leisure. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing calm stay. Top marks and thank you.

Lakes Midweek Break

Lindeth Howe is a lovely hotel, one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in, not a speck of dust anywhere. We booked a deluxe room, which was very nice but not luxurious, in the true sense of the word. It was well equipped with DVD player, coffee machine and nice toiletries.
The restaurant served excellent food for dinner and breakfast, and the service was very friendly and attentive.
The hotel main rooms are themed with Beatrix Potter memorabilia, the furniture very quirky but it all works to making the stay memorable.
This is the second time we have stayed there, and we will go back.

Perfect two night luxury break in The Lakes

A very warm welcome when we arrived and perfect location near Bowness on Windermere. Although it was only 2.00pm our room was ready. A large, beautiful superior room with lovely view towards Lake Windermere. Spotlessly clean and luxury bath products. Delicious afternoon included in the deal. Whole decor in public rooms is quite unique and perfect for relaxing on a damp November damp. Both 5 course dinners were delicious and well presented. Breakfast also of a high standard.
Like many hotels they were short staffed but everyone worked so hard and nothing was too much trouble.
Hope the offer is repeated, we ll definitely visit Lindeth Howe again.

Staff were excellent , they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Short stroll into town, bus and ferry easily reached. Perfect!!
