Relaxing luxury stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had the Potter Room which was fab and the food was lovely. Staff were helpful although sometimes their English wasn't too good and we nearly had the wrong wine. On the whole, beautiful setting and lovely lounges with tasty food.

Disappointing.

Usually stay in Keswick Country Manor.  Came here for a change. Enjoyed our stay but did prefer Keswick Country Manor.  Rooms were nicer, food was better also a lot cheaper. Came here for my partner's 60th. Have to say, that the staff are very helpful and pleasant.

Lovely place to stay

Hotel experience was lovely, we were given a luxury hotel gift voucher and chose to spend it here. If we stayed again would use a different booking site as cheaper deals available.
Appreciated the rule - no children in dining room after 7pm. This could be expanded to breakfast too as there was a toddler who enjoyed screaming through out breakfast and the parents had little control in stopping this

Great stay

We had a 2 night stay at Lindeth and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great location, peaceful.  Staff were great, very helpful and nothing was too trouble.

A little bit of Luxury

A wonderful place to relax and spend a few days. The superior room was certainly that! It had everything, all toiletries replaced every day along with the tea making things, the bed was even folded down in the evening during dinner and chocolates left on the pillows. A lovely touch!  Afternoon tea was like a gourmet meal, so much so we had to have a very late dinner on that day.  Wonderful food in the dining room with a good choice. The five courses were certainly as advertised - a great chef we think!  There was the heated indoor pool and sauna which was an added bonus, very good too!  The whole four days spent at Lindeth Howe was certainly worth every penny spent and I would certainly recommend it to anyone who wants a few relaxing, gourmet days in the Lakes

Perfect reception, staff pleased to help, room and facilities excellent, afternoon tea best ever, BUT we had booked dinner for 8.30. As it was 5 courses it needed to be eaten gently and with time between courses. We were badgered by staff walking out of the kitchen and starring and the restaurant manager approaching us twice in 5 minutes. We did not have pudding. Totally spoilt birthday treat.
