Romantic Break offer great value

We stayed here with friends and booked the Romantic Break offer. We got a bottle of bubbly, a box of chocs and a lovely bouquet of flowers in both rooms. Our ground-floor room with a wet room was large and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of parking at the hotel and the gardens are lovely. The decor in the main areas (bar and lounge area) is amazing and so different but it looks great. The dining room is airy and the tables are well-spaced apart. The food was excellent, great choice at breakfast, and good dinner menu. I am very fussy but enjoyed all three dinners. All the staff were helpful and friendly. Overall it is one of the best hotels in the UK that we have ever stayed in and we would love to stay again.

Anniversary celebration

Had a fabulous few days away celebrating our wedding anniversary with friends.
The hotel is lovely,very quirky and we were well looked after by all the staff.
Great Location for lake Windermere and tourist attractions .

A very pleasant three night stay

We had a lovely 3 night stay at Lindeth Howe, the staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The room we had overlooked the garden and the hills on the West Bank of Lake Windermere. It is only a short walk from Bowness pier so we were able to leave the car and use the bus and ferry. All in all a great break

Stay at Lindeth Howe

We really enjoyed our stay at Lindeth Howe from the moment we arrived and received a warm and friendly welcome. The staff were cisistently kind and helpful. The food at breakfast and dinner was great, served , presented and cooked beautifully. Locally sourced food appreciated he bedroom was an accessible one and was well located in the hotel and the amenties suited our needs . The hotel had many interesting things. Sadly we couldn't appreciate the gardens because of mobility issues. We enjoyed the visit.

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights following our wedding, immediately upon arrival staff could not be more helpful, we had high tea and also dined in the restaurant one evening, the food was superb. I can honestly say that breakfast was second to none and on the Sunday there was a surprise bird of prey display organised by the hotel which was amazing. Location was great only a few minutes walk from the marina and a 15 min stroll from Bowness-on-Windermere. Altogether a fantastic stay and I would highly recommend.

Enjoyed a lovely stay at Lindeth Howe Hotel (sadly it was only for the one night) - from the moment we arrived to departure, the welcome was warm and accommodating. I must say the food is exceptional, very high standard and well deserved of 2 Rosettes. (congrats Chef) Only small gripe, is I emailed the reception days prior to request a small cake for my partners birthday! After numerous follow up emails and leaving VM's I finally got through to the Hotel on only to find out they were closed on the Monday so e-mail my was not picked up, even though it was sent on the Friday prior. (hence no cake) it would have been a nice touch to recognise this in the restaurant, by way of some form of acknowledgment, (minus the singing though) that said there was a nice B-Day Card waiting in the room.

I would highly recommend a stay here. The hotel has a lovely warm 'cosy' feel to it. Very nice gardens, grounds, some quirky features with a nod to the great history of this place. Food as I said it exceptional.

Fantastic

We have stayed at this hotel three times now and each time it never disappoints, wonderful friendly staff, excellent food in the restaurant and its location to Boweness town is good.
