Excellent hotel

We had a lovely stay at the Grange hotel. our room was massive and had everything we needed. The food in the restaurant was very good and the staff friendly. The spa was relaxing and I loved the steam room

We had an excellent two night stay at the Grange. We travelled by train. The hotel is very close to the station.Everyone was very helpful: the food excellent.

Very nice friendly hotel,beautiful scenery

Enjoyable and relaxing stay

Very friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel.
Our room was super spacious with bath and separate ensuite with large shower and double wash basins and loo all exceptionally clean. The 4 poster bed was comfortable, there was a seating area with coffee table and 2 chairs and chaise lounge, double aspect windows looked out onto a wooded area and the back of the hotel, it was very quiet.
We ate in the restaurant 2 evenings and the bar area 1 both venues serve delicious well prepared and presented food.

Lovely break

This was our first visit and we thororughly enjoyed our stay. We would certainly return and recommend the hotel to others.

The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble.

Very enjoyable stay

We very much enjoyed this visit to the Grange Hotel and it's location is as splendid as the photographs show. The staff were without exception friendly, courteous and helpful. The superior room is quite luxurious with a very comfortable bed. The only downside was that the wi-fi wasn't working for us in the room. There appears to be two different access points. The one that works is out of range in room 211, the one with strong signal wouldn't connect to the internet. Really, in 2024, this should be a standard offering. The staff attempted to help but they didn't know how to fix it.

Dining in Carriages restaurant was a real pleasure on both nights. Excellent service and very good food. The buffet breakfast is as much as you can eat and very tasty.

Grange is a pleasant spot and the gardens are something the town can be proud of. We also enjoyed an afternoon excursion to Windemere.

All in all, a relaxing weekend. Thank you.

We love this place and have been coming for several years as a family to relax in this lovely, elegant hotel where we've made many memories.

Good Holiday Break

We had an excellent holiday break despite the poor weather,but the main point we would like to put forward was the friendly and helpful staff especially . Janet at reception.
One comment would be that possibly sandwiches should be made available at the bar during the day and a change to the restaurant menu daily.
