Luxury New Year Break for my husband and I

2 nights 3 days stay at this wonderful hotel. Had a good deal through Country Hotel Breaks they were very efficient. Luxury Suite was wonderful with a lakeside view and some added extras like a free drink on arrival in the lounge bar, a deal on the 3 course gourmet evening meal, 20% off wine and a free Steamer Cruise on Lake Windermere. Secure parking 2 minutes walk from the hotel, views amazing, very luxurious hotel would definitely recommend. Staff very professional and food was brilliant. The location is great too with easy access to shops, pubs, restaurants, Lake cruises and many walks.

Birthday Break in Bowness

First time booked with OPG would definitely recommend the offer we booked was excellent.
We had a lovely 2night break, the hotel was a bit dated the location was excellent,our room overlooking the lake was amazing great views.
Had a lovely evening meal and enjoyed the food, we had a view of the garden and lake, the staff were very polite and tentative.
The lounge with bar was good with nice views, all the staff were very friendly and helpful.
We enjoyed the hotel and location, we would stay here again.

Spring in the Lakes

We arrived on a Sunday of a Bank Holiday weekend for a two night stay. We have stayed here before but the room was really excellent. The bathroom had a full bath and a separate walk in shower. The dressing room could double as an office and the bedroom was king size.
The restaurant was busy but the service was friendly and efficient/
The location of the hotel is right on the lakeshore and close to the boats.
A great stay and great accommodation

Beautiful surrounds and superb food

The food was exceptional, good produce well prepared and excellent value for money. They kindly upgraded our room and the staff couldn t do enough for us. Very good for wheelchair accessibility. Due to such a short stay, we didn t use the spa facilities. Would definitely return.

The best hotel in Windermere n

From front desk to cleaning staff it was perfect. Hazel in the restaurant was so good with the children and very friendly to all Breakfast had so much choice it was hard to choose Location was the best for the steamers

Best location

This hotel is a classic in terms of service and location. Staff are helpful and lovely, food and drinks are good quality and fairly priced. Hotel is old but charming.

Would definately stay here again.Location very good.Biggest plus was the attitude of the staff,With no exception they went out of their way to be attentive , pleasant and helpful.
