Fabulous birthday treat

My birthday stay for 2 nights was really great. The staff were all very professional yet friendly and welcoming. The restaurant menu was varied and interesting and absolutely delicious!
Beautiful gardens and a lovely atmosphere all round. Thank you so much.

Been before and we d go back again

Friendly welcome and we were well looked after for our stay. We ve been before and it s the first place we ll look at going to on our next venture to the lakes.

Relaxing Stay

We arrived at the hotel to a warm welcome from the reception team who quickly checked us in.The room was not ready but that was no problem as we had an afternoon tea booked.This was delicious with a selection of sandwiches,fruit scones and cakes.We were helped to the room with our luggage.
Our accommodation was in the Potter Room which we have stayed in previously so knew what was expected.The room was immaculate.Flowers,chocolates and chilled prosecco were waiting for us as booked.
Breakfast and dinner were first class with plenty selection and always served hot.The dinner menu has a choice to suit most people from fine dining to dishes such as fish and chips and pasta.The staff were polite and nothing was a bother.
For those less able, the walk to and from Bowness maybe an issue.
The gardens at the hotel were beautiful.
We have stayed at Lindeth Howe for years and find it exactly what we need for a relaxing break.

Exceeded our expectations in all respects.

From the first moment to the last, it was a very special kind of perfection. Even the ice was changed in the wine bucket in our room.

Relaxed Nreak

Made very welcome the very moment we entered reception. Very efficient. The rooms, grounds and lounge areas ate all well presented and comfortable. The hotel is in a very quiet location yet within walking distance of the town and all it's amenities. Would definitely return.

Romantic Break offer great value

We stayed here with friends and booked the Romantic Break offer. We got a bottle of bubbly, a box of chocs and a lovely bouquet of flowers in both rooms. Our ground-floor room with a wet room was large and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of parking at the hotel and the gardens are lovely. The decor in the main areas (bar and lounge area) is amazing and so different but it looks great. The dining room is airy and the tables are well-spaced apart. The food was excellent, great choice at breakfast, and good dinner menu. I am very fussy but enjoyed all three dinners. All the staff were helpful and friendly. Overall it is one of the best hotels in the UK that we have ever stayed in and we would love to stay again.

Anniversary celebration

Had a fabulous few days away celebrating our wedding anniversary with friends.
The hotel is lovely,very quirky and we were well looked after by all the staff.
Great Location for lake Windermere and tourist attractions .

A very pleasant three night stay

We had a lovely 3 night stay at Lindeth Howe, the staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The room we had overlooked the garden and the hills on the West Bank of Lake Windermere. It is only a short walk from Bowness pier so we were able to leave the car and use the bus and ferry. All in all a great break
