Fabulous Country House

We really enjoyed our stay at Lindeth Howe. The hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff were really helpful and friendly and the food was fantastic. Can t wait to go back in the Summer.

Wonderful Lindeth Howe

This hotel was superb for a weekend stay although the weather was awful-February in the Lakes. It is conveniently located close to Bowness for shopping or going on lake cruises. There are good walks in the area and the ferry to Sawrey opens up lots of opportunities.
The hotel is comfortable and beautifully decorated. The theme is books as you ve probably never seen them before.
Our room was lovely and the cleaning impeccable. The restaurant was top notch although the menu was the same on our three nights. This didn t matter at all as we could have eaten everything on it with relish. On our last evening we were sorry couldn t manage desert but was it something to do with the delicious afternoon tea we d had earlier? Well worth having if you do stay there, and I d recommend you to.

Good Hotel

The Lindeth Howe lived up to expectations with a great room, very comfortable and excellent sleep in a very comfortable bed. The food was also very good from the afternoon tea to the evening meal.

We found the staff very helpful in all areas of the business and would recommend the hotel and will return.

Fantastic Weekend Break

We stayed on a Luxury in the Lakes 2 night break and would highly recommend the OPL offer and the hotel itself. The staff were professional and friendly from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We chose to upgrade to the Suite as the deluxe rooms were not available. Details such as the flame effect fire, an ice bucket in the room and proper drinking glasses made a huge difference. We cannot praise the restaurant highly enough, the staff were attentive and friendly and the food sublime. Breakfast was good too, the cooked breakfast was hot and fresh as well as tasty! We will definitely be back, maybe for a longer break next time!
