How to get here

Lindeth Fell is one mile south of the centre of Bowness on the A5074, the Lyth Valley road and just two miles from Windermere railway station. 

From the North

Leave the M6 at junction 38 and follow signs to Kendal. At Kendal follow the one way system to Lakes/Windermere. At the large roundabout northwest of Kendal take the first exit signed B5284 Hawkshead Ferry and Crook. After 7 miles, at the T junction turn left. We are 200 yards on the left.

Scenic route from the North

Leave the M6 at Junction 40, near Penrith and follow the A592 via Ullswater and Kirkstone Pass to Bowness. Opposite St. Martin's Church in Bowness, turn left and follow A5074 Lancaster/Lyth Valley road. After travelling for a mile you will find Lindeth Fell on the left.

From the South

Leave the M6 at Junction 36. Take A590/591 for 8 miles to Kendal roundabout. Take the first left onto B5284 for 8 miles through Crook to T-Junction with A5074 (Lyth Valley Road) near Bowness. Turn left and Lindeth Fell is 200 yards on the left.

By Train

The Main line station is Oxenholme – The Lake District. There are shuttle trains to Windermere meeting the main line trains. It is then a 10 minute taxi journey to Lindeth Fell.
