Cannot praise highly enough!

Dennis W, Lancashire, stayed: February 2025

Having married here 7 years ago this was our second return since that for our wedding anniversary.
This hotel is classically genteel with warm helpful staff, excellent cuisine, cosy fire, awesome views and peaceful space to wander and relax at leisure. As we have always found in the past, there is nothing to fault about the Netherwood. It is timeless and we love it - Netherwood please just keep on doing exactly what you are doing and continue to provide quality service in such a calm environment. Thank you

Hotel Stay

SL, Flintshire, stayed: March 2025

Lovely stay, excellent food, good wine list, always warm. Charming old hotel, room was clean, shower was boiling but not enough pressure if I had wanted to wash hair. Also our room was at back, so no view. Overall would definitely stay again.

Very pleasant relaxing stay. Great views.

We spent two nights at Netherwood Hall. An interesting, old hotel with some history.
Breakfast overlooking Morecambe Bay in the sunshine was fantastic.

Really enjoyed our stay

Ian W, stayed: April 2025

After a bit of a shaky start when we arrived for our cream tea, this place really grew on us. A lot of this type of hotel can be really tired but the public areas of this hotel while traditional are in pretty good order. The rooms are ok but how much time do you spend in a room? It s not a key consideration of ours. The star of the show is the restaurant. Really excellent food and service. I had the lamb rump and it was exceptional. Spent an hour and half in spa. This is really excellent with two big steam rooms, large sauna and two hot tubs and cold plunge pool. Treatments available too. The hotel has beautiful gardens and if sunny it s a great place for a few beers in the sun. Short walk to town if you fancy a look around Grange over Sands and it has a really nice prom by the sea.
